Hello

I started my pre-career like most teenagers, working retail where I developed customer service skills and began my observations of leadership and organizational dysfunction. In my early pre-career, I worked in various industries where I developed my administrative skills. I was introduced to good and bad management/leadership, dysfunctional organizations, and unproductive teams.

My first career was in the oil and gas industry where I quickly moved from employee to consultant where I was focused on building on many skills including project management and leadership development. Over the course of fifteen-plus years, I worked in different areas of the industry gaining depth and breadth on business best practices, customer service, and leadership development. During this time, I also achieved my Life Coach, Relationship Coach, and Beverement Coach certifications. Adding coaching and mentoring, goal setting, empathy, self-awareness, and other necessary interpersonal skills.

In my second career, I moved into the public sector, where I worked for a couple of government agencies. My focus rapidly shifted from project management to leadership development, team building, work-life balance, creating a healthy culture, and organizational development. This is where I met my passion for helping people embrace their inner leader and break the mold of how a leader/manager should behave. I actively worked with my teams to create Subject Matter Experts, develop strong leaders, and make everyone in the room with me, smarter than I was.

I became fascinated with organizational development, change management initiatives, creating leaders, and improving processes.

​

Today, I have taken all of my years of experience and combined them under one roof, KM Squared Consulting, is the result.
